This is a 24″ wheelset (one front and one rear). The rims are A-7X Lite single wall that are polished aluminum in color. These rims have 10mm holes between each spoke. They are similar in style to the old Mongoose Pro Class rims.

The hubs are polished alloy small flange sealed bearing with 3/8 axles front & rear (slotted front). The rear hub is a standard freewheel type which will work with 16t and larger freewheels (not included). 100mm F, 110mm R OLD

The 36 spokes are chrome-plated carbon steel w/ 5/8″ chrome-plated brass nipples, and they are built 4X just like bitd. These wheels will accept 24 x 1.75 – 2.40 tires (507mm).

The rim has a pinned seam which means that the seam has a decal instead of a hole as seen in the photos.

Included are 3 sets of nylon rim strips; one red, one black and one blue. They are not the shiny mylar; they are nylon.

*NOTE: This rim has a raw, polished finish. They may have some areas that are dull, scuffed, or simply showing other small things from being handled. It is not a manufacturer defect or blemish if the finish has small visual issues. You may want to polish them with a soft cotton rag and an aluminum polish to achieve mirror-like shine. Polished parts do need to be periodically polished to retain maximum shine.
