It started for us in April 1981, when Chuck Robinson took us to the Torker factory in Fullerton, CA and with me becoming the importer for the brand. Back then the complete bike range consisted of the Torkflyte and Maxflyte, which came inCandy Red, Candy Blue, Black or Chrome.
44 years later, Torker is back and we took the cues for that original Maxflyte to build a updated version based on the new LP Race frameset, with the iconic classic twin toptube and round-hole gusset – upgraded with modern touches to make the bike easier to ride – like a V-brake (that actually brakes), a clamp-on 1 1/8″ threadless fork system (that stays tight) and a long 21.25″ toptube (so at 50 you can ride it). All in Candy Red with Gold components.
Finished off with alloy gold flange Skyway Tuff Wheels.
